Blue Ridge Medical Center's Emergency Room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency care in Fannin county.
BRMC's ER staff is specially trained to analyze an emergency situation, triage, stabilize, treat, and effectively disposition patients with all types of acute injuries and illnesses.

Shelby Jensen, Director of Emergency Services brings over 13 years of clinical leadership experience, including extensive work in emergency medicine, trauma care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her background spans high-acuity environments across the Country, and she is known for her compassionate care, critical thinking and commitment to quality improvement. Shelby's leadership as a Charge Nurse, Educator, and preceptor has consistently elevated patient outcomes and team performance. She's also actively pursuing her Master's in Nursing with a dual specialization in Family and Emergency Medicine-further proof of her dedication to excellence
